Dear all 8th Batch Leaders 2010, Hey all! (: Well, today marks the end of all the secondary four and fives journey as a C.H.IJ - Saint Joseph's Convent Girl Guides. We must say these three years have been a very challenging and fun experience for me. Not only have we learnt many many skills that we am not able to learn in class, we've grown both as a person and as a leader. Like what we've always tell you guys, Being a leader is a honor. It's not about the title, not about the fame, its about the love for Girl Guides. You lead because you care and you love. Today, We have officially stepped down from girl guides as a leader. Me and Peihua and several other seniors will not be guiding you as much as we did in the past. We really, sincerely hope that the efforts we've put in are not wasted. We truly hoped that you have learnt something from the trainings we all had. As this team - The 8th batch of leaders embark on your new journey as a leader in Girl Guides, we hope you will not give up when you meet any obstacles, I believe in each and everyone of you that you can excel when you put in your 210%, we trust in each and everyone of you that you can lead SJC Girl Guides better than any one of us. Believe in yourself that you can do it when you put in your heart and soul into it. Don't let this passion, this fire of love for girl guides ever die off. For this flame will keep you going whenever you feel like giving up. Do know that becoming a leader is not a task that you can accomplish in one day's time. It may take hours, days, months and even years. Do not harp on the mistakes you've made, instead learn from them. Take them positively for all these are the part and parcels of your journey as leader. For all the mistakes you have made, learn from it. From all the hardships, endure it. From all the joy you've shared, keep reminiscing. "A journey of a thousand mile begins with one single step." ~ ConfuciousWe believe all of you have taken that one single step. Now, its time to continue on the journey with an open heart. And together with your team, bring girl guides on to a whole new level. Promise me that when we come back guides, we want to see the same enthusiasm in all of you? :) We hope what we've done all these years in guides have truly allowed you'all to enjoy guiding. We hope that all the trainings we've given you'all especially My Bonnie have created an impact and inspired you'all to truly understand the meaning of a team and to love and care. To show to love and care for each other, this team, your guiders and most importantly guides. With all that said and done, we officially hand over C.H.I.J - Saint Joseph's Girl Guides Company 1 and 2 to the four up and coming CLs and ACLs and the 8th batch of leaders. For the last time... Leaders, i'm so sorry to those who have turned up for the meeting today, it was cancelled (last minute), there will be a short meeting tomorrow. it is really a short one. i need you'll to bring one or two torch light and i need 2-3 kind souls to bring their table lamps to school. i need these logistics for campfire. Thank you. once you pass to me you can leave. Venue: C02-02 Time: 2.10 Leaders, keep up the good work :) you guys are doing great now. ** i have to explain why we change the organisation chart. it is because some of the rotational plan we have planned clashes with the people in charge of that department. we have told you'll before we plan the organisation chart that we will try to give you the position that you want in that department, but in this case we have to see it as a whole not just only one particular person okay? so sorry. i hope you guys can understand.

please remember by heart
full-value contract
1. if leaders are late for a minute
- punishment : 1 round around basement(or other areas)
2. if leaders forgot to bring something or leave something behind
- punishment : 15 jumping jacks.
3. if leaders are rude to any seniors or guiders
- punishment : push-up position (as long as the seniors and guiders want)
